Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
After arriving in Ulaanbaatar, guests will be picked up at the airport. Then, the journey will begin towards the birthplace of Genghis Khan, Khentii Province. You will visit the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue at Tsonjin Boldog. On the way, the group will stop at Chinggis City for lunch, and after that, the tour will continue through Berkh City to visit the underground mining museum.
You will then arrive at the Steppe Horse Camp, located on the Khukhuur Steppe, where Temujin and Boorchi first became friends. Upon arrival, the guests will be welcomed with airag (fermented mare's milk). After settling in and having dinner, you will be introduced to the traditional ceremony of foal racing. Following this, guests will be greeted with a song and a warm greeting by the campfire.
Day 2. Frendship Monument & Nomadic Family
After breakfast, you will participate in the activity of mares milking. After that, you will visit the Tenger Andgai Monument, built at the site where Temujin and Boorchi first became friends. You will also learn about the life of a modern Mongolian herder family. Together, you will experience the process of dairy product making, and engage in other household activities, exchanging experiences.
For lunch, you will enjoy a traditional Mongolian dish, khorkhog (mutton stew). Then, you will ride horses in the Khukhuur area, feeling the wind as you gallop across the plain. After dinner, you will witness a horsemanship performance showcasing the skills and harmony of the herders in managing their livestock on the vast steppe.
Day 3. Dadal Sum, the birthplace of Genghis Khan
After breakfast, the journey will continue towards Dadal Sum, the birthplace of Genghis Khan. On the way, you will visit the monument built at the birthplace of Genghis Khan’s great advisor, Shikhikhutag. Then, crossing the Ulz River valley and the Onon River, you will reach Dadal Sum.
After checking in at your accommodation and having lunch, you will visit the spring where Genghis Khan drank as a child, Khaju Bulag, and the valleys of Balj River, where he played and grew up. You will have the opportunity to take photos along the way. After dinner, you will visit the illuminated statue of Genghis Khan and take a walk around the Gurvan nuur (Three Lakes).
Day 4. Dadal Sum, Deluun boldog
In the early morning, you will prepare traditional offerings and drinks to pay your respects at Deluun Boldog, the birthplace of Genghis Khan. Afterward, you will visit the nearby market and see the illuminated statue erected for the 800th anniversary of Genghis Khan’s birth. You will also take photos around the legendary Three Lakes. After returning, you will enjoy lunch.
Next, the travelers will have some time to rest before continuing the journey to the Steppe horse camp located in Batnorov Sum, where you will check in for the night. Guests will have the opportunity to ride horses, milk cows, and herd sheep. After dinner, you will relax and rest.
Day 5. Back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, the journey back to Ulaanbaatar will begin. On the way, you will visit Kherlen River Island, where the Secret History of the Mongols was completed, the ruins of the Auriag Palace, and taste the sulfuric water from the Aurgan Spring. After having lunch along the way, you will arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the evening and check into the hotel.
Day 6. City tour & shopping
After a leisurely breakfast, the city tour will begin. You will visit Sukhbaatar Square in the center of Ulaanbaatar, take photos, and visit the Chinggis Khan Museum. Then, you will visit the Gandan Monastery, the Buddhist center, and the Bogd Khan Palace Museum, the winter residence of Mongolia’s last king. The day's tour will conclude after these visits. Lunch and dinner will be served at a restaurant.
Day 7. Departure
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Ulaanbaatar.
